Food love

One of occasional things I do is invite Yolanda for dinner.  It gives me a chance to cook something at least decent once in a while of our busy grad school life.  Also Yolanda lives in a residence hall, so coming from someone who has used to live in a place with no kitchen makes me want to feed some homemade meal for her.

Last night I made baked chicken, roasted potatoes, & green beans coupled with some red wine & classical music playing in the background.  This is usually the time when we find ourselves become nerds & talk about school, curriculum, our field, etc.  We also exchanged a lot of thoughts & advices because it’s all about trying to figure out what’s right for you in the future.

Have you ever cooked for a friend or for a special someone [that means I need to starting cooking my boyfriend a little more often…]?  I also find cooking to be pretty relaxing & enjoyable because your experimental side sort of side kicks in, playing around with the recipe.
