Happy April!
Fridays are usually not my workdays, but I was working this last Friday to help my boss with an outdoor program. Weather in Texas has been absolutely gorgeous lately: in the 80s, sunny, breezy (more like crazy windy), & flowers blooming everywhere. We just need some rain now. My office has been promoting on healthy recreational activities for our engineering students, so we helped Student Government Association to host a Field Day.
One great thing about working in student affairs is that sometimes you get paid to do the most relaxing thing in life. Sit under the shade & watch students play soccer. And occasionally serve them drinks & snacks. That’s how I spent three hours that day. Pretty cool deal, don’t you think?
