A New Place to Work

Yesterday was the first day of my internship at Southern Methodist University.  Despite leaving much earlier than for a regular 37-mile drive, I still managed to get there late…took 1 hour and 40 minutes.  Yes, I had experienced the big city rush hour, and it was awful.

However, the rest of the day went extremely well – I got myself situated, filled out several paperwork, and got myself a SMU ID card! Of course my ID picture looks like a criminal.  I was spoiled with a lunch treat by my new boss (a delicious square pizza), and I got to talk a several staff members there.  They are all so nice and thoughtful.  My ridiculous commute to Dallas didn’t seem so bad after all. 

After an exhausting yesterday, I am getting myself ready again for work, but this time for my UNT job.  Have a great Thursday everyone…weekend is almost here!
