Weekend review

  1. Laying out in the sun. One of the favorite ways to get relaxed and be lazy. I have some ridiculous-looking tan line on my back from roof labor I had to do a week earlier, thus need to even it out a little bit.
  2. Finally purchased my plane tickets to Houston for the summer! I was getting nervous about it because it's summer break season and wanted to buy it before it gets too expensive. Still had to pay about $230 for round-trip ticket (ugh... ><), but it'll be worth it (am I right, Z?). This means I have to work my butt off over the summer to regain $230 and earn more so I have some money for my trip. Must say however, LDR [long distance relationship] is such a monetarily expensive relationship. I always feel like spending up all my money I earned from work towards buying plane tickets...
  3. Currently reading a book about Alan Greenspan and his opinion about the economic turmoil we're in. Bought the book a long time ago but didn't have the time read it during school year. I'm finally catching up and must say this individual is quite a genius when it comes to numbers.
  4. Working on grad school applications. I certainly have decided that Higher Education Administration is the road I want to take. About to study for GRE once I return to Lubbock next week. I have nailed down to 6~7 schools that I want to apply - all from Texas because I could only afford in-state tuition, etc.
I have exactly a week left in El Paso so trying to get the most out of it. I'll be sad leaving home again because I enjoy the time with my family and especially my brother, but also excited to be returning to Lubbock soon to get myself busy.

I'm going to go watch "Bones" now. I love Hulu. It's such an awesome website.
