I have been trying to work on my eating behavior as I was sort of tired of having weight fluctuation & having pants that don’t quite fit. Thus, I wear dresses a lot.
So the fact about me is that I like meat. And I had a tendency to avoid fruits and vegetables. But that’s not the point. I also like to eat late at night, like at midnight. And while I know it’s a bad habit, actually acting upon what I think it’s right is a whole different story.
For dinner, I ate salad with tuna after having 2 slices of pizza for lunch. I really thought that I could moderate my late-night eating tonight until my stomach began to yell at me for food. So after waiting & waiting for hours debating what I should do, I end up having toasted breads with cream cheese & strawberry. My mom said it’s okay, so I’m going to think that way…ha ha.

Anyway, my question to everyone is…what kind of healthy eating behavior have you been working on lately? Is it always a struggle (like not eating things late at night) for you?
I personally think my biggest struggle is in fact the late night snacking. I don’t like candies or desserts that much (I mean I can live without it), but my taste buds are always yearning for some carbs at night.
Of course after eating those yummy toasts, my stomach is back to happy mode. That also means I will be staying up until 2am working on a report (for work) & reading immensely (thanks, grad school).
Any suggestions? :) [you can leave suggestions to my comment box]

Wonjee..I am trying to cut back on sugar and junk food and wine and fried foods and fast foods. It is time for me to make some major lifestyle changes and no time like the present. Just need to remain consistent. I envy the fact that you DON'T have a sweet tooth. I just really need to "elevate my standards" when it comes to my food choices. Good luck with everything. I think you are doing the right thing eating more fruits and veggies and getting exercise in.
