Bossypants

Do ever get bored from vacationing?  I wouldn’t necessarily say that I get bored with vacation, because I never NEVER do, but sometimes watching same movies & tv shows don’t get you through the day.  Or maybe it’s that being a 24-year old grad student compels me to do something a little more productive with my vacation than before.  Or maybe it’s because I’m disappointed for getting a B this semester instead of my glorious 4.0 (which is true).  Whatever the reason is, I dragged my brother out to Barnes & Noble in one hot afternoon, like today.  In return, I bought him a Starbucks Coffee…!

I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to read but I heard great things about Tina Fey’s “Bossypants.”  I figured some humor to reading wouldn’t hurt much.  At the same time, I got my brother a 3D Toy Story 3 book, which we are excited to experiment with the glasses in the near future.  Who would’ve ever thought a children book in 3D? 

I am officially quite excited to read this book, a leisure reading in which I haven’t done for a very long time.  I always thought that Tiny Fey was humorous but not over-the-top.  Who knows, maybe I’ll finish reading this in a couple of night and make another trip to Barnes & Noble.

Speaking of which, let me briefly express my joy of one-year anniversary from Texas Tech graduation and yet the sadness of leaving home (again) in less than a week.  What a mix of emotions today has been.
