Lucky, lucky day

My last day at home was spent with my family.  We made a day trip to Ruidoso, New Mexico, where it’s the only place we’d go these days because of its rather short distance than other places.  Nevertheless, we always love going there because it’s widely different from the desert condition in El Paso.

We particularly enjoyed the cooler weather & abundant sunshine; it was a perfect springtime-like outing.  I refuse to admit that summertime is here.  I would have quickly given up that thought once I arrive in Dallas tomorrow, though.  After sleeping through most of the 3-hour road trip, I was exceptionally energetic and readily entertained my family with perpetual silliness.  One of the silliness involved random outbursts of dancing, completely nonsense but totally entertaining [at least to my family].  Thanks to my dad’s willingness and my camera’s amazing ability, you get to see some of the dorky side that you will not see on a regular basis…except for a few of you of course.

And I apologize for a few disturbing pictures.  Ok – I’m not really that sorry, but if you laughed, I’m totally glad.  If these pictures will haunt you forever, I am deeply sorry.

Here are, however, some better pictures you might want to remember. :)

It really sucks to leave all these wonderful people behind [again], but a lot of wonderful and memorable things happened during my short 2-week visit to home.  It’s quite amazing to be reminded everyday what a wonderful life I have.
