30 second rain

It’s quite rare for my town to have rain at all during the year, especially in summer. Welcome to the desert; that is all I can say.

After months of drought (?) we finally had some rain. Ok, let me make a correction: rain for 30 seconds. We weren’t all that surprised by it; after all, we do live in the desert.

We did, however, enjoy the short period of humidity & the smell of rain. And because we were so fascinated from the rain, we even had to take pictures. Actually the WHOLE family took pictures. Again, welcome to my family – we get amused very easily.
