Sister-like bonding half way around the globe

Tonight, I am spending the night at my friend's, or more like the older-sister-figure friend. Moreover, I got to see baby Daniel & hung out with him for a while. This boy is growing up so fast.

I'm not used to the sister-like bonding so, at first, I was feeling a bit awkward myself. But it was kind of fun afterawhile to talk about things that you wouldn't normally talk with your parents about. (relationship stuff, maybe?) It freaked me out just a little bit when she started asking me about marriage.

We had cake (that I bought) for appetizer, steak for dinner, & alcohol for dessert. Sounds pretty normal, I think! And the woman can talk so much more than I do. I think I'm the boring one out of us two. I may need to learn how to be more talkative.

It's kind of crazy to know that she has known me since I was a baby, and amusing to discover that after two decades of something, she is a mom to baby Daniel and I am drinking beers with her...all the way out in the USA. (We knew in Korea) Life takes interesting turns.

Last but not least, we watched a movie. I can happily say that I made a contribution to my friend's life because this was her first time movie outing since 5 years ago. We simply didn't choose the perfect movie for her, that's all. (Mindless romantic comedy, supposedly) But having the theater to ourselves was indeed awesome.

{We watched "Killers". It's a typical Katherine Heigl-movie-wanna-be-Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I did enjoy watching Ashton Kutcher, though. He gets better as he gets older...physically, I mean ^^}

I am really enjoying this sister-like bonding thingy.
