After an 8 hour boring drive from Houston to Lubbock, we arrived. Even though I didn’t drive at all, I was really tired. Perhaps numerous road trips that all happened within 3 week period finally defeated me.
But, I found out that some of college friends were planning a late birthday celebration for Erika; I willingly missed out on the wedding rehearsal dinner just to be part of this reunion.
Even though some friends ended up missing out on this fun night, Shawn, Erika, Christine, and I had a great time playing Wii Mario Kart games. We made fun of each other a lot. Good foods & alcohol were involved too. I was really happy to be part of the celebration; almost too glad that I chose this night to reunite with some college friends when I still had the chance.
It’s going to be more exciting on the wedding night when I see more familiar faces. I’m looking forward to a fun night while wishing the best for our new married couple, Matt & Mattie.
