Our air conditioner at my house failed to function since Sunday. I was praying that it would get fixed before I returned to El Paso; that pray was never answered.
My family is acting like zombies; there is no lively spirit in them at the moment. Of course the air conditioner had to fail during what will be the hottest week for the entire El Paso summer.
So, we had to buy a portable air conditioner for upstairs because grandma & brother were literally exhausted by the ongoing heat. Hopefully it will work out for the best tonight.
We are expected to wait for another few more days to get the proper part for repair. I have much more respect for the existence of an air conditioner (when it works) now.
