Sibling love

Going on a date with my brother has become a tradition since we moved to El Paso. I felt bad this summer because that “date” has not happened until today. I had lots of things planned for our date, especially knowing this summer will be my last long break before doing some “adult” work.

Weather was beautiful as usual, & I made sure to try on some new clothes & accessories I bought thus far. [I know, I’m such a girl.]

{I bought this belt online from Mod Cloth, don’t you think it’s kind of cute?}

{Notice we take a lot of pictures…}

We had lunch first at Taco Cabana, after discovering the movie time we originally planned didn’t work out; it was sold out. We had to opt for a later time, but the movie was definitely worth watching after all the schedule changes.

{I was highly attracted by its colors…}

Before lunch, though, we went on a Father’s Day mission (it’s this Sunday!!). Unfortunately, I can’t reveal what we got because daddy will find out. You’re just going to have to read the Sunday post.

The movie we watched was Toy Story 3. It was a highly anticipated movie for both of us - we were very thankful to laugh together despite a huge crowd. (& tons of kids!!!) It was such a precious movie; we highly recommend to everyone as a family movie.

{We gave thumbs UP for the movie!}

Finally, we wind down the hot day with some McDonald’s coffee – they’re cheap & tasty! We discussed about the movie…& he asked tons of questions about my plans after summer. He is generally a very curious brother. :)

{Look how much ice I have in my cup. He’s not allowed to have cold beverages so I had to take all the ice out.}

When we came back, mom encountered something funny - we were both color coordinated. A picture, again, was necessary.

{& I am certainly no longer taller than my brother since…I don’t remember. He is SO much taller than me.}

Finally, on an end note to this post, I made a first attempt in video-making. It’s certainly amateurish result, but I had lots of fun experimenting!

  2. Just letting everyone know that you are now able to watch the video. It's my first time uploading videos via YouTube so I was confused with the setting...sorry about that! :)
