It’s the beginning of a new weekend so I began that joy by having a little date night with daddy. First time since last summer, I guess. Actually, I lost sense of time because I’m on a full lazy-mode…summer break. Dad had to remind me that weekend had just started.
Dad & I went to usual places like Lowe’s and Wal-Mart to look around new bargains for tools & pool-related things. Dad likes to research, just like mom.
We rented $1 DVDs from Red Box & watched all of them tonight, while mom was sleeping beside us. We also had late night desserts that consisted of cone ice creams & fruit smoothies at McDonald’s.
I’m starting to think that we might not get many opportunities like this next year & on when I am practically working all year long…
{& I suddenly notice how much my dad has aged…all those wrinkles & tired looks. I suppose my dad is getting old now. That rather makes me sad}
On a side note…
Despite the AC-less house, I think we are dealing with it pretty good. In fact, we are quite used to the heat; it’s no longer becoming a problem. Solution: stay in the pool at all times. Good thing we have a pool backyard.
The parts are coming in Monday…hopefully.
