Here is my late V-day update. The evening before V-day, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a really cute card from my family in El Paso. I get really excited whenever I see the mail from home. It contained a whopping $50 gift card for Ihop & a $10 discount coupon for Gap. I felt like I was in heaven, jumping up & down for 10 minutes. I was one happy girl.
The next day (THE DAY), I was anticipating something from the boyfriend all day long as he told me I should. I was smiling all afternoon at work after receiving a call from the apartment office with a confirmation of the flower delivery! Unfortunately, I was running a program until 6:30pm & had a 30-minute window to pick up the flowers. I made it there 5 minutes before the office closed. I was incredibly relieved. I also enjoyed reading the love message, which I only receive every other V-day (My boyfriend doesn’t write love letters much often). I even compared with the first message from three years ago & giggled when I saw a huge difference in his writing style. At least he thinks I’m still beautiful so that’s good.
Since then, I have been staring at those beautiful tulips & even matched my outfit to them yesterday, totally by accident, though. I love watching them blossom more & more each day. I wish it will stay that way for a very long time. I’ll have to admit – with fresh water & some fertilizer-type given by ProFlowers, the tulips are might healthy. It’s such a great addition to brightening up the living room.
Texas has been in the crazy spring-like weather lately so I am enjoying the warm sun & wearing bright colors of clothes. I think with V-Day & exceptionally warm weathers have put me in a happy, I’m-so-lucky-to-be-loved mood. :)
