Have a wonderful V-day

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Anything special stored in for you & the significant other? I must admit I wasn’t a big fan of V-day because it seemed so out of control. All the commercials, TV episodes, & everything else you could think of geared towards marketing, and I hated that.

However, I am starting to have more appreciation for that day, not because I am sucked into that black hole of V-day marketing, but I think it’s important to spend one day letting others know how much you love them. If you can’t do that everyday then I figured you ought to spend one designated day of the year to do it or else you’ll never find the right moment.

Unfortunately I’m spending another year of V-day alone & clearly reminding myself of the long distance I’m in for three years. But I did spent some time sending flowers & love cards to my other two men in life: my brother & dad. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean I’m neglecting the one & only boyfriend. Who knows, maybe I might dedicate a cheesy email love letter to him.

Tomorrow I’m looking forward to receiving something from the man in Galveston (just because he told me so). I’m curious to see what it is.  Flowers? Chocolate? Himself? (lol)  It better be good. I’m just kidding.  :)

So have a wonderful Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Enjoy the special day with someone you love, whether that is dining out at a nice restaurant, going to a movie together, or simply staying inside with popcorns and movie and with a pj on. I would probably choose the last one, however, tomorrow is a full day of work plus an evening workshop to run at Discovery Park.
