Snowpocalypse or Icepocalypse?

I’m telling you, our earth is going nuts! UNT decided to cancel Friday, too, which I am not surprised at this point.

I thought being stuck in my apartment for  a week long would be a fun, lazy thing to do, but I am starting experience the Cabin Fever. I have been completely unmotivated to do readings for school, but that doesn't mean I have been productive with house chores either. I did do some laundry & some serious cooking, though.

As my Cabin Fever continued to rise, my ears suddenly went numb from an unexpected fire alarm. My goodness, the alarm was really, really loud & began to bother my ears!  As I walked out the door, I noticed all of the tenants out in the cold as well. It turned out to be a building-wide alarm as maintenance crews struggled to figure out the cause.

I figured this was a good opportunity to venture outside since I haven’t been out for three days & had no clue how exactly how bad or cold it has been. Yes, I was a hermit. I noticed that the road was pretty bad, & my car was stuck in ice. I almost slipped several times, but I didn’t fall, thankfully.

By the time I lost the sense of my fingers, I noticed that the alarm was no longer going off. 30 minutes of walking around the apartment complex & snapping photos were fun. It was a much needed moment for me.

Now I’m back to happy, relaxed Wonjee after a nice hot bath. I might get me some tea now. :) Also, please keep my family & friends in your prayers as they are still experiencing several blackouts.
