From hearing Z passed out in his bed at 10pm (or sometimes way before) every night, I will have to express my deepest appreciation to all the hard work you put in. Trust me, I get exhausted from tutoring 5 students in one day, I cannot imagine dealing with 170+ kids every single day. Though I love teaching, it just sounds so terrible because the teaching part is such a minimum task of your daily routine.
Thus, I highly dislike your students and the somewhat incapable administrators for putting your life in misery everyday. And truthfully, I highly dislike myself dealing the side effects every night (aka Z).
Anyway, you all amaze me with your patience and resilience. I also wonder if there are times you just want to quit because the whole thing just seems worthless, but I hope you don't think that too often, though.
So teachers, keep doing whatever you need to do each day to survive. Whoever the significant other will put up with your side effects because we love you. We also do that because your job is important. Please remember that you have my biggest respect. And I always feel like teachers are one of the most under-appreciated people in this world. To me, you all are one amazing group of people for the work you do to promote a positive growth in our next generation.
On a personal note to Z - you better not try to go to sleep at 10pm during our spring break. I want to have some fun and not feel like an old woman that has an old man.
Thank you.
