Hoi Yan contacted me the night before in hopes to see me and Z again. We went to another hole-in-the-wall place called Dumpling Inn. The dumplings there were excellent, and I got full pretty quickly. It was good time to catch up; we only get to reunite every summer or so (or every other summer, sometimes).
{I guess I didn't want to get pictures taken}
{The high school friends}
We went back to La Jolla beach; this time with bathing suits ready, we were determined to relax and enjoy the sun. Hoi Yan joined us about an hour later. Her being the talker, she talked for most of the time. In the end, we watched the storm coming in, felt the strong wind coming towards us, and took pictures of us for the last time. Hoi Yan and I said goodbye...I don't know when I would see her again.
{At La Jolla beach. It was very windy}
{Notice we were tanned. Z was especially more tanned I was}
{Haha...our glamor shot}
{The storm was coming...my hair looks poofy}
