So much closer to San Diego

After my family's departure, it has been a busy day for both me and Z. We were determined to finalize our plans towards our San Diego trip, and I am confident to say that we are almost done with planning. While I was attached to my monitor looking for great places to eat and visit, Z was planning the more technical aspect of it - where to stay, rent a car, and all that.

We are going to admit that this is going to be a very expensive trip - the plane tickets are costly and a lot of expenses will be incurred during this trip. Mainly, I feel so terrible for Z because I think his credit card is about to explode with big spendings [I really hope to help him out with expenses as much as I can when we are there]. But we realize that this may be the one-and-only-trip for a very long time, now that taking another path as a student is certainly determined for the both of us.

{This is Cabrillo National Monument, where we hope to visit in real life next week! I will take cooler pictures than that, hopefully.}

I am finally being assured that this awesome spring break trip is becoming "dream come true" as I make my first lifetime departure to California (I think for Z as well)!! I still have a week of full loads of work ahead of me, but I think I will survive through it just fine. I highly await the arrival of San Diego on Saturday.
