Life...crazy

Who would have ever thought that life after spring break will be this busy?! Well, I should have known since I have been a college student for almost four years. But, this year, the type of busyness is somewhat different. I guess past three years have been all about writing papers, doing projects, and studying for midterms. Just imagine that this year contains all that I just mentioned in addition to interviews and...bridesmaid stuff.

First of all - yes, I have an interview tomorrow with Teach for America. It's the organization that Z is currently part of. I applied with a thought of "why not" and now I am all the way up to the final interview. The application materials...it's a lot in a short period of time. It's getting there, though. I am actually very relaxed about it now after having a panic attack last night [I don't know why].

Second, why is everyone getting engaged??!! I suppose I am at that age. Anyway, I declared this spring break as the official "engagement week" because so many of the people I know got engaged. It began with my friend, Madonna's, engagement to James; Christine's engagement to Grant; and three other girls in my class. I am officially Madonna's head bridesmaid so I have been getting tons of emails from her about the bridesmaid dress, venues, and all that. I am SO not used to this.

{This is Madonna's wedding ring. I did not know the band and the diamond were sold separately until she told me...haha}

This weekend I am going home to see my family as well as coach some of the young singers in Kim's studio, my former high school voice teacher. Quite frankly, I am more excited about going home to see my brother. [By the way, brother got a new desktop and is desperately waiting for me to set up his computer in a workable condition.]

Next Monday, I have an interview with University of North Texas where I get to interview not only for the program itself, but also for a possible graduate assistant position. Thankfully, my dad decided to join me for this trip. It is now becoming like a father-daughter road trip event, and my dad is way too excited about that. Needless to say, I was hesitant about making the trip by myself because I don't know anyone there. My dad is so awesome. *^^*

So yeah, life is a little bit crazy right now. I am dying for this week to be over so I can be home with my family. I was getting a little homesick.
