After a 8-9hour ride, I am back home safely. I slept most of the time...I didn't really sleep last night. Perhaps my body is still in Pacific Time Zone, a two hour difference. My body feels like going to sleep, but I am running busy in the house. I will update you on the details later, but my life after spring break is unbelievably busy, which I don't know if I should be thankful for it or not.
Currently, I accidentally stumbled upon YouTube with this video. It's a virtual choir created by Eric Whitacre, a genius contemporary composer. Basically, singers who want to be part of this submit their recording of the song and the selection of recorded singers are put together in a choir...like this. Pretty cool? I think so. Welcome to the choral performance of modern age - I think only Eric Whitacre can pull off something like this...in a big scale. This clip really makes me want to join a professional choir again. *sigh*
Enjoy.
[Translation]
Light,
warm and heavy as pure gold
and the angels sing softly
to the new-born baby.
Lux,
calida gravisque pura velut aurum
et canunt angeli molliter
modo natum.
